Shipping Schedule

• New batches are shipped every 2 months.
• Shipping method depends on demand and will be one of the following:
  • Sea freight: estimated 6–8 weeks
  • Air freight: estimated 4–6 weeks
• The shipping method used for each batch will be announced closer to the shipping date.

Condition of Items

• Books are shipped without plastic wrap/cover unless stated otherwise. Please be prepared to re-wrap or protect your book upon arrival if desired.
• Minor imperfections such as dents, bumps, bent corners, or shelf wear can occur during international shipping and handling. This is considered normal and is not eligible for a claim, return, or refund, as it is outside our control once the item leaves the publisher/warehouse.
• We do our best to pack securely, but pre-loved-level imperfections (light shelf wear, minor spine creases, small dents on corners) should be expected as part of the nature of imported books.
• Items with major damage (torn pages, missing pages, water damage, or a heavily crushed book that affects usability) may be reported within 2x24 hours of receiving your order, with photo/video evidence, for us to review on a case-by-case basis.

Other Book Terms

• Book condition (cover print, paper quality, binding) follows the original publisher's standard — we are not responsible for printing quality issues from the publisher.
• Book releases/reprints are subject to the publisher's own schedule and may be delayed, postponed, or cancelled by the publisher without prior notice. This is beyond our control.
• Bonus items (postcards, photocards, stickers, etc.), if any, are available based on publisher/distributor stock and are not guaranteed.

Shipping Schedule

• New batches are shipped twice a month.
• Shipping method: Air Express Cargo, estimated 10–15 days.

Shipping Cost

• GBP 15 / IDR 360,000 per kg
• Final shipping cost is calculated based on the actual or volumetric weight, whichever is higher.
• Shipping cost is calculated after your item(s) arrive and are weighed at our warehouse.

Other Regular Item Terms

• Please double-check size, colour, and specifications before ordering — we are not responsible for buyer-made mistakes.
• Items are inspected before shipment; however, minor packaging wear from the courier/expedition (crushed box corners, dented outer packaging) may occur and does not indicate damage to the item inside.

Payment Method

• Payment is accepted via BCA (Bank Central Asia) bank transfer only.
• Full payment or down payment (DP) must be made within the timeframe given at checkout/order confirmation. Orders with no payment confirmation within this window may be automatically cancelled and released to the next buyer in queue.
• Please send proof of payment (screenshot/receipt) after transferring, along with your order details to confirm your order.
• Make sure the transferred amount matches the total invoice exactly. Any shortfall in payment must be settled before the order is processed.
• We recommend double-checking the account name and number before transferring, as we are not responsible for payments sent to the wrong account.

Down Payment (DP)

• Some pre-orders may require a Down Payment (DP) with the remaining balance due before shipment or upon arrival — terms will be stated per batch/order.
• Once DP or full payment has been made, the order is considered confirmed and cannot be refunded, as we proceed to order stock from the publisher/store on your behalf.

Cancellation Policy

• Orders cannot be cancelled once payment (DP or full payment) has been made. This applies to both Book and Regular item orders.
• If you wish to cancel before making any payment, please inform us via DM/WhatsApp as soon as possible — no cancellation fee applies at this stage.
• In the rare case an item becomes unavailable, discontinued, or out of stock from the publisher/store after your payment has been made, we will offer either:
  • A replacement item of equal value, or
  • Store credit for a future order (Cash refunds are not provided except in this specific case, at our discretion.)
• Any request to cancel due to change of mind after payment is made will not be accepted or refunded.

Warehouse Processing Time

Once items arrive at our Indonesia warehouse, please allow processing time for unloading, sorting, and repacking:

• Regular items: approximately 5–7 days
• Books: approximately 1–2 weeks

Estimated Arrival

• All estimated timelines (shipping, processing) are estimates only and may change depending on international trade traffic, customs, weather, and courier conditions.
• Please understand that when shopping internationally, delays can happen at any point — including local courier delays and delays from the overseas expedition/forwarder.
• Shipping schedules cannot be rushed or expedited upon request — all orders follow the existing shipping schedule as announced.

Communication

All order-related communication is handled via WhatsApp. Please keep proof of payment and order confirmation for your reference.

Force Majeure

Happy&Bear is not responsible for delays or losses caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, customs seizure, or courier/expedition errors. In such cases we will do our best to assist and communicate updates as they become available.
